Isobel

I had the pleasure of not only getting to capture the sweetness of baby Isobel but I also got some snuggle time too. Catherine (baby Isobels mama) and I have become friends over the years and I always enjoy my time chatting with her. She is a beautiful snuggly baby and she has been so lucky to be born into such a wonderful family. She is everything a little girl should be sweet cuddly and she smells so good. I couldnt be happier for Tom and Catherine what a beautiful (and tall) family the three of you make.

Ethan's first Birthday was a blast.

Now I may be biased as this little munchkin is my cousin Steph and Steves little guy........but c'mon anyone with eyes in their head can see how cute he is. I learned all about Warehouse mouse and the imagination movers as my cousins, our friends and I made an "Ace of CAkes" style monstrosity of a cake. People were throwing around phrases like "Now we need to dirty ice this" and "We should pipe this out". It was like an episode of cake boss or ace of cakes .......we sculpted rice crispie treats and cut out fondant till well past midnight. His party came and everyone came to see him ........He was hugged by everyone even his Super Nana. We let him smash his own cake but he was more interested in squishing it with his toes :) It was a great party for Ethan the birthday boy and he looked pretty cool in his leather jacket. He came into our world and dazzled us with how strong he is and he continues to amaze us with how funny and sweet and beautiful he is. Amanda & Mike Stanzel

This is one of the sweetest couples I have ever met their wedding was simple and elegant and it was on a really great day.....Sept 19th ...my birthday. I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding that took place at base of the Chicopee ski hill. They both couldn't stop smiling. The ceremony and reception were very intimate and the love was felt everywhere. One of my favorite images is of Amanda's bouquet and Mike's boutonniere - they showcase matching pins that Amanda's late grandfather had given them. It was obvious how much it meant to both of them and another sign of how much family means to them.

We are so happy to have clients like Amanda and Mike we wish them all the best.

Pistachio Cake

Soooo I am NOT a baker. Not in the least but when Nathan (My Husband) talks about a cake his Nan (grandma) who has passed away ,had made him when he was a kid that he LOVED and hasnt had it since I of course wanted to surprise him with this cake for Valentines day. I went out and bought everything I needed to make an angel food cake and the Pistachio frosting I get home and mix it all up only to find out that I dotn have a bundt pan. Yikes. Thank goodness I have Carolyn my neighbour and friend whom I already adore and she is the best baker I know. I called her up and sure enough she let me borrow her pan so I could make this cake. It turned out sooooo good. Okay so it make not look gorgeous but like my Great Grandmother (Mammie) always said "it might not win a ribbon at the county fair but it sure is gonna taste good"

Nathan LOVED it and knew without a doubt that he was my Valentine. I am now in love with this cake too.....almost as much as I am in love with my husband.

Andrea and Travis

Wow Andrea and Travis were troopers today,the sun was bright but the wind was pretty cold. We trudged through waist high snow, the first fifteen minutes were hellacold but then my legs went numb and I was a happy girl again lol :) We ended up capturing so much of the love the two of you share. I particularly love the shot of your ring with your masquerade themed colors making thier debut. I hope you have a great time at the Sweethearts Dance in Palmerston tonight ..........and that you win a prize............ hopefully its a trip to somewehere warm ....you both deserve it. Here is a few of my faves I had a hard time picking can you tell?
